In a nutshell: Ambience: very nice and I really enjoy spending my time here! Food: very extensive menu with very delicate dishes. Something for every taste (also vegan) Take-away is not a problem, but only by pick-up. The wine recommendation is very, very good;)

Outstanding tomahawk steak with freshly grated truffle! As always, friendly service in a great atmosphere - hopefully again soon! 100% recommendation :-)

If someone wants to eat very well and is a wine lover, this is the place for them.

The service staff were arrogant. A younger gentleman had brought the food to our table and apparently couldn't hear properly, because even after saying "This is for me" three times. had said, he didn't serve you the food and also says cheekily "Let's tell who what would be good." For me an absolute no-go, he should rather be there with his full power of thought and listen to his job. The card couldn't convince either. It felt like half of it was already over and otherwise the offer wasn't what one would have hoped for. The food itself was fine, but the taste wasn't better than in the Franconian restaurants. Maybe better ingredients were used. However, this is not clearly visible to the customer and it is better to point this out on the map. Maybe I would rate the visit better if it hadn't been for the arrogant waiter ...

Friendly staff and great food. Quality of the ingredients, service and restaurant itself mega cozy and inviting. We would love to come back. :)

One dish to choose from for vegans, but that was awesome! Slightly higher priced. Portions like a little bigger. 😉

Was there today for the first time and was able to enjoy the fillet tips of beef, pork, veal and chicken with cognac sauce. Sensational! The meat was tender as butter and the sauce was indescribably delicious!

Very good Franconian cuisine, great location, good beer and very nice and courteous service! Perfect for a romantic dinner but also for a relaxing evening with the family. There are also outdoor spaces right on the river. We will definitely come back more often!

Super delicious food! In the period of closure due to Corona, we ordered something from the customs house (on recommendation) for the first time and it was a culinary delight! Gladly again.

The food here was excellent and the service superb. What a way to experience the local Franken cuisine here, it was so finely done. Nick had chestnut soup, and I had the horseradish soup. Sounds ordinary? Wasn't. How it was presented and the taste, was beautiful. Husband said it was the best soup he's ever had! Followed by crusty pork shoulder, and I had mixed meat fillet medallions in a cream, pepper sauce! We couldnt eat anymore. We tried to book in again before we left but it was busy. It really is the one classy place here in Forchheim.

The waitress refused to serve with empty tables at 13:10 on 22.12.19, claiming she was alone and worked already too much. Service is depressing!

Very good restaurant. We only ordered dessert, cakes and drinks, but everything tasted wonderful.

Last Wednesday evening we were guests in the cooking class "Wild, Forest and Meadow" and were totally thrilled. We already knew the good food through the visits to the restaurant "Zum Alten Zollhaus" and the "Parkcafe", but with your always humorous nature you made the course an unforgettable evening.
